People living with physical disabilities in Delta State today caused a major obstruction along Asaba-Benin Road. They clamour for welfare and government’s support. The spokesman (Patrick) said that Governor Uduaghan should intervene and cater for their safety and hospitality. He stated that if the United Nations can give room for people living with disability, and other nations as well as other states in Nigeria, then they demand the following
*Basic monthly salary
* And involvement in government offices.
At the moment of filing this update, there is a major lock down as travellers remains stranded. The team of disabled in Delta State insists that they must negotiate with the Governor of Delta State primarily before vacating the public road which according to them is their home. Anambra state Governorship aspirant Ifeanyi Ubah also stranded in the disabled protest along Asaba-Benin Road.
